When traveling to Jamaica, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. These include airline updates, filling in the Immigration/Customs C5 Form, having a U.S. Passport (valid 6 months past your return date) and more!
✈️Airline Updates & Requirements
Always verify airline requirements and any travel updates leading up to your travel date. Download your airline's app on your phone for easy boarding pass access, and flight and gate changes on the day of travel. Take a photo of your passport to keep in your phone as backup in case it is stolen, lost or damaged. Better yet if you are working with a Travel Advisor, send them a picture of your passport as a backup.
ONLINE Immigration/Customs C5 Form (It's free!)
As of 1 September 2023, all travelers to Jamaica are required to complete the Immigration / Customs C5 Form online before arrival in Jamaica. The C5 online form is free of charge and can be completed before your journey via the Government of Jamaica Passport Immigration Citizenship Agency (PICA) website. CLICK HERE

Make sure you are packed for success and bring important travel documents and other must-haves like prescription drugs, sun protection, insect repellant and travel insurance. If you're going to run out of a specific medicine while on your trip, it's best to just take extra with you, since there is not guarantee the pharmacies will carry your exact medication.
